Today, my mother married another man and I've acquired my sixth step-father.

He is handsome based on this world's logic but if you think a man with green scaly skin, charcoal black lips, curly ink black hair and a single eye is handsome, then I think your eyes need medications.

Compared to him, my dad is a lot better. Father's appearance is very similar to human except for the golden vertical slit pupil and a meter long dark sleek tail that I inherited from him.

I love my father greater than my mother which is completely contrary from my past life. I thought that no matter what, a mother's love is incomparable to any other kind of love but now, that kind of thinking was shattered by the logic and common sense of this world.

Unlike Earth, this world, Cloris, put importance on females than males resulting to this kind of families, a single wife and several husbands. Children of each family are normally close to their father while only the favored daughters are close to their mother.

I am the second out of the three daughters of the family. The eldest is from the primary husband and the third is my fourth step-father's daughter. I have a twin brother, an another brother that shares the same father as me and eight step-brothers.

I am not really favored by my mother but neither am I disregarded. None of my step-fathers show their hate for me but I'm sure it exist. My siblings are good to me too, even my sisters for they are certain that I would never try to fight them.

Every Corolla have something they are good at which is equivalent to their colors. Red means strong and have great affinity with flames, orange means good at handwork, brown is equivalent to leadership, blue means intelligent and have great affinity with water while yellow or gold is equal to having great charm and being good at socializing.

There are a lot of different colors and there are corresponding ability and skill to each of it but the greatest and wished to have color is black because it is equivalent on being talented in various skills but having black color is unusual but not as rare as having color white which is equal to being inborn kind and benevolent.

Blood, skin, hair, pupils, and lips, this are the five body parts that are colored on a Corolla but there are special ones who posses a trait and it gives another color slot. If someone have three or more body parts that have the same color, then they are called dominated Corolla or in short Dolla. Being a Dolla has its perks and disadvantages, being supremely excellent on one ability or skill is its greatest advantage while it's disadvantage is that you have lesser skill and abilities since a single ability hoarded three color slots.

There are only two things that differs from Corolla and Humans, one, Corolla can only have a maximum of six abilities or skills except if they have color black or gray while humans can learn and practice any skills and abilities and two, some Corolla have this traits like my tail and slit inner pupil that humans don't posses.

With a silver-white hair that cascades down to my hips ,skin as white as porcelain, melted platinum like blood and a pale snow lips, I am a dominated Corolla with dominant white. I can only be described as a kind person who only knows how to help others and if not for my golden eyes, black inner pupil and dark maroon tail, then I would truly be a 'white lady'.

This is the main reason why my siblings don't hate me is because they know that I won't think of doing bad things to them and would undoubtedly help them if they needed a hand.

Yes, as a citizen of Earth during an era of peace, good morals were engraved into my mind but I am certainly not as selfless as they thought my color describes. I would help those who I can but wouldn't be that kind enough if it would endanger me or my love ones and speaking of love ones, I really wonder if this mother of mine deserves to be one of them.

"Yza Yosi, the painter has arrived, dearest mother is expecting all of us at the garden." A youth with red hard skin and a single black horn on the center of his forehead informed as he entered the study. He glanced at my twin brother beside me but swiftly returned his gaze to me as if waiting for my answer.

"Yes, Ugr Elro." I politely answered as I tilted my head downward as a bow.

As a female, I don't need to be this polite and certainly don't need to bow to males even to my fathers but everyone expect me to be like this, a kind girl that would be polite to everyone even to a person who has killed her family.

After hearing my response, Ugr, my eldest step-brother nodded then left the room only sparing a single glance at my twin brother.

"Ugr Elro is really rude, acting like you're air. First step-father really need to smack his butt to discipline him!" I spat as I closed the book I was reading with a loud bam. My brother on my left gave me a wry smile as his dark blue eyes stared at me with suspicion.

"Really, seeing you acting like this makes me wonder if you are really a white Dolla." He wondered and I gave him an innocent look.

"How could you question your sister's benevolence? This is also called being kind, helping and being concerned with people I am close to. You are my brother and my twin at that! I'm closer to you than I am with Ugr Elro so it's common sense that I would be on your side, moreover, bad mouthing him in front of you can be considered comforting and being kind to you." I nodded as I felt satisfied with my explanation. He let out a sigh as he placed a book on top of the one I was reading then he swiftly waltz toward the door but before he can open it, a resounding BAM registered into his ears.

Ever since I was born in this world, everyone expected me to be their lackey, a person who would do as they say because I am 'inborn benevolent' but unfortunately, deep inside, I'm not, but I only show this to my closest family or else I might pique the interests of those crazy scientist.

"What is the meaning of this Yzo?" I warned as my vertical slit pupils became slitter to the point that it became a straight line, and with a smile, I continued, “Do you want me to return it to the bookshelf for you?”

Yzo let out a nervous laugh as he picked the book from the ground which fell after I slammed my hand on the table.

“Ah no, of course no Elsi!” The youth exclaimed while returning a smile “I just saw something at the door and wanted to figure what it was. I never had the intention of bothering you Elsi, and since I’m on my way, would you like for me to return your book to its shelve, Elsi?" He offered as he cautiously examined my expression.

I handed out the book to him while my pupils returned to their normal look making him sigh in relief. After he returned the book to their respective shelves, we left the study side by side while heading to the garden where out mother awaits.
